Most times we neglect the importance of people who do behind the scene jobs in our world, their ethical attitude towards what they do, and their hardworking nature always go unnoticed.
Today, I just want to bring to your notice, these set of individuals who put in so much work in our institution, that no amount of wage paid to them would equate to the believe they put into the job.
They are actually my first set of unsung heroes in the university of Nigeria, Nsukka campus.
When you walk around campus, you see men putting on green with black protective boots, face caps on, and most cases handkerchiefs covering their mouth up to their nose and dark shades on.
You keep wondering why this unique dress code? But these are protective measures to prevent this men from unmanned vehicles(UAV)...LOL, Well I meant grasses though, that may be harmful to certain delicate parts of the body.
They cut grasses with precision, their dexterity & unifying nature is amusing. Cool and calm headed, causing no worries to students as they walk along the road.
The end product of their dedication leads to an environmental friendly university community. Where one can breath in fresh air as one chases his or her academic dreams.
May God Continue to strengthen them as they keep putting in ethics, dedication, and more work.
And I pray THEIR reward gets to them as soon as possible.
There are so many unsung heroes, but I decided to start with the men in green.
