Why Boys Love Akintola / Akpabio Hostels.

It is not news to any guy that has a babe in the female hostel that visiting time for guys is from the hours of 4pm - 9pm. So you see guys going for the "bellowship" at those hours, either to see boo/bae.

Mandela reacts: says his call for solidarity is not for a March but for diplomacy

RE: Mandela calls for solidarity March in support of UNEC'S Aluta Struggle, and against the ill treatment of the school's administration on them.

In reaction to that headline above, I want to categorically state that the solidarity Mandela calls for is not a March!

NEW MUSIC : KELWIZZY, LYRICAL MUHAMMAD ALI PUNCHES AGAIN IN HOT TRACK GETOUT

This track is nothing short of DopeMusic, amazing lyrical content and if you are a lover of the punch lines, we present to you the lyrical Muhammad Ali who puches with words in almost every line of this fast paced track.

UNN ENCYCLOPAEDIA - ADD YOURS TO THE LIST

CHAO: Used to describe the act of eating as in to eat,    but is mostly used when the rate of hunger is more than normal,  sometimes because of prolonged stay in lectures without a break or after spending  a lenghty period of time reading. Example sentences are Babe I wan chao,   Guy i dey hungry,  I need chao

CRASH: Some have coined a proverb from this word. It goes thus a little crash  and a little crash and your GP  will crash. Crash ,  used by an individual who wants to sleep.  Crashing is not a synonym for the word nap as CRASH-ing usually takes long hours leaving the CRASHer with  soothing and enjoyable experience.

MAKING 5 SENSES: This word is encompassing as it defines the intellectual truism  of ones speech or thought. If yoy are said to be making 5 senses,  what you said is obviously correct and infallible that describing it as making sense would be an

understatement. Example. UNN students are studious but the  grades on the result boards usually contradicts this.

IF I HEAR: Translated to pidgin Enlish from the Igbo word ka m nu kwa. Can be  used as the opposite of making 5 senses because it is spoken when one dubts the integrity of what is said. Example. Male hostel is more comfortable than the female hostel,  if Ihear

REGISTRATION: This is a case of the last but not the least. In fact this is the most important as many might have heard this but never had a clue as to what the word means. Spoiler alert, this is in no way connected to the registration every student has undergone in one way or the other but i doubt the number of students that have not registered themselves in this way. Three vital words that are used alongside this word include The Registrar,  Registree and
Registered. The registrar is always a male student and the registree is the female student and registration is the act of registering the registree. Note

UNN STUDENTS REACT. #UnnAmeboh SEN. DAVID OKPE

THE NEXT BIG THING MESSAGE

UNEC: UNN CAN AVOID SHUTDOWN ONLY IF....

I cannot pretend and send social bcs on this platform and beyond and ignore the plights of our very own in UNEC resulting to the  annihilation of the SUG and eventual shutdown of the campus. It is appealing and calls for a careful analytical scrutiny.

Need I remind us that history repeated itself but in the worst of outcomes. We can recall that activities in UNEC sometime last year that infected the Nsukka campus subsequently was for the same issue- Light and water.

UNN STUDENTS REACT - ONYEKERE MANDELA #UNNAMEBOH #UNECISUNN

I stand with unec students

Hm. Our leaders hardly learn anything than steal and oppress those they deem weak.

These oppressions are all aimed at distorting youth's future so that they, they oppressors, would hold on to power like Robort Mugabe of Zimbabwe till they die.

Getting to make any change starts now. If we can't stand up now, we can run tomorrow. If we believe we can cause change only when we are in authority, let's realise that it's even harder then. And the possibility of getting to the head depends on how today was made.

UNN STUDENTS REACT- #UNECISUNN #UnnAmeboh (Blossom Sandra)

Wait a minute, lemme get this.
Some UNN students be like, "We no dey have water and light issues? We don protest?"
And you think you are doing good  by that. You think things are ever gonna change with that attitude?
We are so lame here at UNN, starting from our SUG down to any one of us who thinks we shouldn't stand with UNEC on this.
It was never planned to be a "riot". It was a harmless sit-at-home action aimed at boycotting school activities indefinitely as part of the #NL-NL (No Light, No Lectures) protest action initiated by the SUG.
It was followed by a peaceful protest round the school.

UNEC Protest: What Actually Happened, The Untold True Story

The Authorities of The University Of Nigeria, following a protest by students of the Enugu Campus of the University on monday, 13th June, has shut down the Campus indefinitely.

The protest, it was gathered, was as a results of the Management's indifference towards the Terrible and pathetic welfare conditions of the students of the Enugu Campus of the University, whom by all indications, are the professional students of the University.

FASA PRO LAMBASTS FASA DOS - CALLS HIM A DEVIL

Good day my fellow FASAITES. Good day greatest Nigerian students. My name is Chidiebere Kalu (FASA PRO) and this is the time for me to clear the air on all the controversies happening in FASA lately. And I crave your indulgence to read this with all objectivity and unbiasedness as this is the truth, the whole truth. And by the time you are done reading, you will know that the Director of Socials, David Igwe is the devil that wants to drag FASA's noble and baronial reputations to the mud. He is a cheap criminal and should pen a public apology letter to all FASAITES! Yes, every FASAITE deserves that apology.
This week is our FASA week which started from Wednesday 8th of June 2016 and will end by Saturday 11th June, 2016. We the whole FASA excos have already planned how this week is going to be since last year. So, when the Director of Socials David Igwe (MC Dave) brought his budget, we scrutinized it and after cutting down cost on some stuffs, we submitted the budget to FASA House of Assembly. Fortunately, the budget was approved. We had a meeting on Sunday 5th June, 2016 to plan for the week. As Mandela the president of FASA presented the approved budget to the executive house, MC Dave flaired up in anger and almost slapped a whole FASA president in the presence of the other excos. He started shouting and threatening everybody in the house. All the excos were surprised at his unexpected reaction as every other exco was happy with the approved budget. He cited reasons that the budget was supposed to be presented by him the Director of Socials to the House. But that is quite unconstitutional because it is the president of an executive that presents a budget to the house. Even in Nigeria, it is the president Buhari that presents the budget to the the House and even our dean Professor Pat Uche Okpoko attested to that in the meeting we had with him on Wednesday 8th, 2016.
As the meeting continued, the president brought out the budget and distributed functions to every single exco for the success of the week. He became angry and left the meeting. He cited the reason that he is the DOS hence it is his constitutional function being distributed to every exco. But it is this same MC Dave that has embezzled over One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira belonging to FASAITES. Your money as a FASAITE, your hard-earned dues! We have done three events (the FASA blast, FASA Matriculation Ceremony and FASA Freshers' Night), and a total of Three Hundred and Seventy Three Thousand Naira (373,000) was approved for all these events. And up till today the 9th of June, 2016, MC Dave the FASA Director of Socials is yet to make an account for all these social events. And according to the constitution, the account for an event should be done and given to the Financial Secretary 48 hours after the event. So who is being unconstitutional here? When we had our FASA Cleanup, the Vice President and the Welfare Officer who were in charge of the programme brought back an account 48 hours after the event. They even brought back money remaining (budget surplus). But MC DAVE has been unable to do this for a whooping 373,000 Naira! My dear FASAITE, your money. We've tried countless times to make him do the account but he has blatantly disobeyed us and boycotted all our meetings where he is supposes to tender the account.
Now, my dear FASAITE, won't it be stupid of us to still give this same MC Dave our money?? And that's why we've continued the week without him because we don't trust him again. And to God be he glory, so far so excellent. And all he could do is to shamelessly go around badmouthing our dear FASA!
So my fellow students, we now know who the devil is. And he deserves to be arrested till he brings back all our money. It is not his money, it is not his father's money. It is YOUR money! FASA is not a shop where you come to enrich your pocket. We were all elected to serve and that's what we have sworn to do. And after our FASA week, we will tender a public account of how the week went. Yes, you deserve to know.
This is nothing but the whole truth and you have to believe it. To my fellow FASAITES, I'm so sorry that dirty linens are being washed outside but desperate situations deserve desperate measures an moreover, you really deserve to know the truth, because you bought that right to the truth when you went to that Diamond Bank and paid your FASA dues!
And to the general public, you now know the truth. And all the activities for the week must continue as planned. We the excos might not be perfect but by the special grace of God, we are trying and we've recorded loads of success amidst too many afflictions.
I still remain Comrade Chidiebere Kalu, the humble Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Faculty of Arts Students Association (FASA) speaking the whole truth, on behalf of every FASA executive.
Long Live FASA, Long Live UNN and Long Live YOU my dear reader.
Thank you so kindly.

QUAGMIRE WITHIN FACULTY OF ARTS STUDENT'S ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVES

This came through the FASA DOS WhatsApp handle, and it's seen being broadcasted on WhatsApp groups within the faculty. The issue here is that here is that FASA Executive, let me borrow the words of Edo Sen. Patrick Obiaghbon, the FASA house is in state of pizma pizma.

Here is the message he sent across

MC DAVE(FASA Director Of Socials) Stance on the Ongoing FACULTY OF ARTS(FASA)week!

I feel so remorseful and unhappy about the FASA week.It is very bad that the week is ongoing yet nothing is happening as regards to it.
Now i must say that I personally have decided to TAKE MY HANDS OFF the Faculty week as well as the the FASA WHITE PARTY which have been rocking the social media for the past three weeks now. This is because the President and other executives have decided to do the event in their own way and it is clearly shown as they have published a new ONLINE POSTER gladly removing the Name and Phone Numbers of the Director Of Socials which is not suppose to be constitutionally. Also, the FASA WHITE PARTY is a Faculty event and not a platform for one to celebrate his/her birthday as part of the agenda for the event. My beloved FASAITE,I cannot and will never be part of this kind of arrangement!                                        I sincerely plead for your understanding base on my stance on this matter.
MC DAVE
(FASA Director Of Socials).

Rebroadcast to all FASAITE!

UNN STUDENTS RESCUE DISTRESSED CAR

It was in the cool of the evening at about 5:30pm when a blue Peugeot 504 parked wrongly behind Chitis. Some say that the driver was pressed and needed to ease himself so he decided to park at any spot he could find. On returning to his car he found out that he had one part of his wheel across the other part of the pedestrian pavement. He immediately solicited for help from passersby to help him with present predicament. The push section lasted for about 5mins, thanks to the boys who volunteered to help him.
